Hi! Hello! Let me introduce myself! I’m Ashley! Aka the mommy in mommyy and B. I started out my life in early childhood education working for various preschools before moving into the world of special education where I was an aid before becoming a special education teacher!

Teaching wasn’t all it cracked up to be let me tell you! I LOVED my students but bringing the work home everyday wasn’t the kind of momma I wanted to be! So here we are this momma with a wondrous education background thought why not share and build a community full of mommas doing our best each day!

We can’t forget about B, B is my son. My motivation for leaving teaching and what keeps my day interesting. He is a year old and never ceases to amaze me! I also have a wonderful and amazing husband and an incredibly smart and kind step daughter. Oh and we can’t forget our two rescue dogs who although were both very badly abused show us nothing but true loyalty and love each day.

Why do I share this? Not because my education makes me a better parent. Absolutely not no amount of education has prepared me for this incredible life. But instead so you can see where my ideas comes from and what has shaped me into the parent and educator I am today.
